Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound partners with actively involved community members to match caring adults with children, both of whom benefit from their one-to-one mentoring programs. National research has shown that the positive relationships between youth and their Big Brothers and Big Sisters have a direct and measurable impact on children's lives. Little Brothers and Sisters are more confident in their schoolwork performance, get along better with their families, and are less likely to begin using drugs or alcohol or skip school.

The mission of The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to find therapies and ultimately a cure for cystic fibrosis, and in addition, to improve the lives of those with the disease.

In their first five years they have donated over $1,000,000 to Children’s Hospital, Regional Medical Center and Evergreen Healthcare Women’s and Children’s Center to benefit their uncompensated Children’s Healthcare funds.

Pan-Mass Challenge

The Pan-Massachusetts Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has successfully melded support from committed cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors and individual contributors. All are essential to the PMC's goal and model: to attain maximum fundraising efficiency while increasing its annual gift. Our hope and aspiration is to provide Dana-Farber's doctors and researchers the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.
